little tree airfresheners VS rear view mirror....the out come is not good
I had about ten of those little tree air fresheners hanging on my rear view mirror and one night after copious amounts of rum decided it was time to clear cut the forrest.......(i was not driving of course) i grabbed my tiny little forrest and with one quick jerk my mirror came flying off and i now have a massive chip in my windsheild about the size of a twoonie (thats rather large for all of our readers south of the Canadian border) and it had to be about a quarter of an inch deep. so not the problem lies in where the hell that little black box from the compass goes on my mirror i cant seem to figure it out or find any pictures so if anyone has the time to take a pic of theirs it would be greatly appreciated...its a 05 Lariat.
the morral of the story is Never go logging in your truck.....no matter how great of an idea Captain Morgan makes you think it is.........YOU AND THE CAPTIN CANT MAKE IT HAPPEN....

that is a trip... you showed it who was boss eh!..
i remember one time i was trying to put up a piece of window tint inside the front windshield... got it on perfect and it was actually staying so i thougth cool... the thing started to droop and before i could grab it it fell... so i punched the windshield... wasnt even drinking... needless to say windshields are not made to be hit from inside... they break as easy as twisting aluminum cans...beer cans of course... so i dont tint windows anymore...

i would watch that chip man i had a chip that originated at my rearview mirror mount spot and it resulted in a HUGE crack across my windsheild when it got cold and then lead me to a $80 "faulty equipment" ticket from a cop and another $400 to get a new windsheild.
