the direction that come with these kits are usually very descriptive and are easy to follow, you can see pdf's of the directions online at the manufacturers website, and its alot better to spend some money and invest in some good tools then to pay a shop in my opinion, you will always have the tools when you need them if you take care of them

Well here are the results

Before & after in the attachments...

It's alright, better than it was, but I think it needs a bit more height...it's not necessarily a big lifter truck I'm after, but one that's well proportioned. Before were too small tires for the wheelwells, now they're a bit too big for the height. Arg. Anyway I'm not unhappy, I just don't think it's the end product.

OK. So thoughts on a bodylift if the truck's going to be worked? Add a leaf?? I don't want blocks..

I think the tires look real nice, the pics are like night and day. Here’s thread on body lifts https://www.f150forum.com/showthread...ight=body+lift

Right on, thanks for that - i think I'll avoid the bl. Maybe go for an a.a.l., especially because I haul a trailer a lot. I hooked it up last night and it actually looks fine with the weight of the trailer, but I know as soon as I put a skid of brick in the back it's going to sink the back way down.

I'm not trying to build an offroad rig, obviously, it's a 2wd...but man they come stock with some small tires. I'm just trying to make it look good.

Long story long: Can someone show me a pic or two of their 2wd truck, levelled w. 33x12.5 tires??????

Preemptive self-flame - "why you putting big tires on a 2wd blah blah blah" Just for looks mmkay
It will look great and you will be glad you did it, it's your truck do whatever you want to it, lifted 2wd's look just as good as 4wd's. Go for it! I would even suggest doing 33's with 20's, seen one setup like that the other day and it look awesome especially if your not gonna do any serious offroading.

Hi. My name is Tomas and Im new here. I have an 07 F-150 XL 2wd. I want to know if adding a leveling kit and bigger tires will help me out in the field when Im hunting. Im was thinking about getting a 4x4 but if this will work I would go this route because I love my truck and plus I just bought it years ago. When putting a leveling kit on the truck do I need to do anything to the rear end of the truck also? If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks
