Need some pics!! 2wd w/ 33's
Hey all - I'll be god dammed if I haven't been searching, googling and clicking through the forums for 4 days straight now for a pic. Here's my situation:
2008 f150 2wd. I've ordered a leveling kit, being installed next week, but I need to know which tires to put on. I know I CAN fit 33x12.5x17's under it, but does it look proportionate? I'm not trying to build an offroad rig, obviously, it's a 2wd...but man they come stock with some small tires. I'm just trying to make it look good.
Long story long: Can someone show me a pic or two of their 2wd truck, levelled w. 33x12.5 tires??????
Preemptive self-flame - "why you putting big tires on a 2wd blah blah blah" Just for looks mmkay

also....any pics of a 2wd with any tires other than stock that you think looks good would be awesome. I'm caught between 285/70's and the 33x12.5....I want the 12.5 tho cause I love the look of a wide tire.

Definitely go with the 12.5's you won't regret it. I had a leveling kit on mine prior to lifting, but never spent the money on 33's. Now I have a 6" lift with 35x12.5's.

Ah thanks guys I really appreciate the feedback. I just ordered my tires - 33x12.5x17 Procomp Extreme AT's...they're being put on along with the leveling kit next friday..................the 13th... not so happy about that but hopefully it'll be all good haha. I'll try to snap a pic or two to add to the forum.
The big suprise in all of this is that the dealership was the least expensive place to install the kit and supply the tires!

Miller, did you have to get a camber kit when you got that leveling job done? I was told at a 4X4 shop that they WOULD NOT install my 2.5 without selling me and installing a camber kit as well.... so I am trying to ensure it is something that I need, and not just a sell.

Did not have to have a camber kit, Just a front end alignment since the toe was about by about 1 degree other than that i installed it myself it took about 2 hours and was very easy...

Then I guess I need to find another shop.... I have no idea how to do it myself, and I don't have the tools, so it would take longer and cost more for me to do it myself than just to have a descent shop do it for me.
