Default Need some lift advice

Hey guys, I've been wanting to lift my truck and I am really not sure what the best way to do it is. I would like to stay away from blocks and spacers and install something that will actually function as suspension. I really liked Skyjackers 3" kit with the new struts and add a leafs until I read what everyone else thought of them. I want something simple that I can install myself, I'm no stranger to wrenches I work on big rigs as my full time job. I have seen that rancho makes a 4" kit. Anyone have any experience with these or anything similar? Really wouldn't want to go any bigger. A kit that would add leafs in the rear would be a plus. Thanks in advance and I am looking forward to your advice and suggestions.

More than just a 2" level but nothing serious like a 6". Is there anything out there that fits this range other than the rancho?

Rancho no longer makes the 4" for our model. I believe superlift makes a 4.5" lift and Rough Country makes a 6" but I believe most only get 5" of lift out of it.

I have a Rancho 4" lift on mine. I love it, if you could find one. Question...anyone know what struts/shocks came with that? Mine need replaced, but I can't tell what type or size they are. The rear ones may be Rancho 9000s?

4.5" would be alright, checked out superlifts site and I'm really not impressed by it. It doesn't tell you what is included in the kits or the price. Anyone have any of this info? Anyone have any experience with these lifts?

Found a couple of 4 and 4.5" lift kits. Anyone have any experience installing one of these?
