Default Need a softer ride on my lifted truck

I have a 6in skyjacker lift kit on my 06 and IMO the ride is very hard. Maybe its made for offroading but living in the city that never happens. I am looking for something with a much more comfortable drivability. Possibly looking at rancho quicklift struts but it looks like the max they lift is 2.5in. Anyone have any suggestions?

How was the rear lift achieved?

If springs were added there is little you can do. Also, high curved springs (replacements) ride more rough then lesser curved springs. This is why blocks are better for the trucks that see little to no off road. They ride better but have issues when off road, like increased axle wrap and thus rear end hop.

It is very likely your rough ride is mainly from changes to the rear meaning that better struts in the front will not help much.

Yes I did add a leaf in the rear.... I can always take it out and just add a larger block.

Exactly what Techrep said...you need Coilovers up front and possibly an upper arm!

Most likely you are using your stock struts and your UCA is maxed out too with no travel.
