like i had said before, driving wrecklessly and or speedeing is almost as dangerousas drunk driving and most of us have sped or been wreckless before. i'm not saying as extreme as street racing but enough to put somone in slight danger. i know i have. now imo that makes it hard for me to judge someone!
now you do have a right to judge and given what you've been through i would probably feel the same way!i'm not trying to start a huge argument i'm just saying that everyone makes mistakes. its human.
and your right! i dont like how he bragged about it either.

Yeah I understand where you're coming from. But speeding and wreckless driving carries a far lighter punishment than a dua, dui, open container, and minor in possession.

But equally as dangerous to others that have to share the road with those that drive that way.

i wouldn't say equally, because as dangerous as a wreckless driver may be they still possess the ability to think and reason rationally, while someone under the influence cannot.

Doors would be a little on the expensive side right?

Too many times a drunk or speeder kills someone because they chose to get behind a wheel after drinking, or decided it's "cool" to street race. Too many times they serve a couple of years in jail, and/or pay a fine, then they get out, because some crafty lawyer says they were drunk, and therefore were not in a "right state of mind", or they are sorry for speeding, and won't do it again.

I lost my best friend due to a drunk driver. He served 4 years in the Navy, returned home; two days later a drunk driver lost control, crossed a center median, hit my friend head on and killed him. The drunk survived; served an 18 month jail sentence, and is now a free man. My friends family is devistated; that was 24 years ago, but his parents never got over it. My son's girlfriend of 3 years was killed by a speeder; he was racing another car on a highway, and the two cars were cutting in and out of traffic. One lost control, hit the car my sons girlfriend was driving; she flipped 4 times, crushing the roof and breaking her neck. He got charged with wreckless driving and vehicular manslaughter. His liciense was revolked. He was only 17, so he served no time. He is now driving again on a special "work" only driving privilage". His parents are trying to clear his record. I'd like to see him hang by his 'nads" quite frankly. 16 year old girl dead; her parents will also never recover. But he will "prolly never do it again". Gee, I feel better about that.

So yes, I'll judge if people do stupid things that are illegal, especially if it effects the safety and lives of others, in particular my friends and family. It's my right to do so. You better hope the law protects you if you do something that is stupid and illegal by keeping you in jail until I'm dead if you hurt one one of my family members. I will not be as forgiving as the law may be to you.

And you are right in saying "he prolly won't do it again" because I'll be waiting for him/her when they step past the jail gates onto the street.

Back to the original thread and a question that was asked....to remove those pesky emblems stuck on with two sides adhesive, use dental floss. Wrap it around a finger of your left and right hand, and pull back and forth, keeping the floss (string) against the emblem. Cuts through that two sided tabe like butter. Then use some "Goo-Gone" to remove any left over sticky adhesive from the body.
bucko im there with you i have done some stupid stuff in my life but once i lost a friend who was 1 mile away from his house and he got hit head on by a drunk driver and he lost his wife and 9 month baby girl and can't walk for the rest of his life and got 4 yrs. 4 freakin years my boy will never be the same. So i stopped and became a a big supporter aganist drunk drivers (SADD) which as a marine i talk to HS kids to help stop stupid s##t like that happening again!

Wow guys, i feel bad. But again we were preetty cautious about the street we were on. It's practically deserted at night. But still i get what you guys are saying and completely understand. During spring break my two friends, were racing. I was in the car with one of my friends, i had a headache that day so i was asleep in his car. But before we left the beach i told him "keep it under 80" he has a camaro z28 and LOVES to speed... can't blame him but when you have 2 passengers in your car, you not only put yourself in danger, you put them in danger. So anywas about 20 minutes or so i wake up and we're pulled over. They clocked his and my other friends cars at 110mph and 106 mph. They got a pretty ticket., I'm lucky nothing happened, and i'm also thankful nothing happened to me or anyone when i had my little incident. I understand that it's not worth doing something so STUPID, wheh all you end up being is a statistic.

And to all those who have lost someone due to wreckless driving i feel the pain.
