Here's mine when it had a 2.5" leveling kit on it. To the eye you couldn't tell it, but it did sit ~3/4" higher in the front.

Are the 3" leveling kits to much for the cv shafts, or do people not like them cause they lift the front to much?

Yes, the max recommended is 2.5" or you're putting everything at some pretty drastic angles and causing premature wear of the parts.

2.5" Hell Bent Steel kit, purchased on Ebay for under $100 shipped... alomst perfectly level.. sitting on a down slope here however...
