Need opinions on reman transmission companies..
yeah that happened. So the long version got lost since I had to refresh the page.. Heres the short version..
Transmission overheated and got a "TRANS FAULT" Message and blinking O/D light. Dropped the pan, no metal just burnt black fluid. Went to back out and no reverse. All gears, including park the thing acts like its in drive. Reverse acts like neutral.
Guessing reverse drum is nuked so I'm looking for opinions on companies that remanufacture transmissions. Neighbor swears by his Monster Transmission in his silverado. I wanted a jasper but now leaning towards monster... Any stories or recommendations are appreciated!
Great site, great information and always my go to forum when looking for anything f150.. Been around here for a while just haven't registered!
