need opinions about rc lifts!

I agree with you...I was looking to do a RCX cuz of the price tag and it was one of the few lifts I could use my wheels with...Anyhow, I decided to go with BDS because I could go higher than 6" and it fit my wheels. The RCX kit has the same dropdown brackets for the 4" and 6" kits...therefore 05lariat is correct and the lift should not be used as more than its 6" intention. The rear actually is done with 5" blocks. Therefore you get a net of 3" in the back. This causes the front to sit a tad higher than the back and give it the "cali lean". Not all trucks end up like that but it can be rectified with an AAL. I was also told by RCX that you shouldnt use anything in combo with their kit due to the CV angles and UCA hitting the coil spring.
RCX is a great kit for the price and if you want just 6" I would recommend it. From what I researched RCX or Zone is the cheapest but also reputable. Zone is a sister company to BDS and essentially the same kit as RCX (regarding using the same drop down bracketry for 4" and 6" kits and shouldnt add a level to). Zone is made in the USA whereas RCX is made overseas.

I've had mine for almost 2 years and love it! It's a great lift for the price. But I'm actually about to take it off in the next month because of gas mileage and not being able to fit in the parking garages at school. So if you plan on buying one in the next 4 weeks or so, I'll sell you mine.

Not with our trucks they cant. Well atleast it isnt told you can. I thought I remember someone on here do it but they had to trim a ton on the valence and a little bit of the inner fender which included grinding some sheet metal. If you trimmed enough and got the perfect offset wheel with the skinniest 37 you could find it might be possible. I am going to go with the safe answer and tell you "No" though. haha.
