Need new front rotors
Looking for ideas on what type of rotors you all are installing on your truck. Should I go with crossed drilled rotors or just the regular type? I found these at Pep Boys

Also my brake pedal always seems to make a noise when I press on the brakes and the steering wheel shakes some once brakes are applied. I already replaced the pads. That's when I noticed I should replace the rotors too.

I would check Rockauto on pricing. They are generally a lot cheaper that retail stores. One advantage of retail stores is that many ship free once a certain dollar amount is reached and on really heavy items the free shipping can really make a difference..

You could try to have your rotors turned. If they are still within spec, it costs about $10-$15 a piece. If they are too low already, then sure buy the ones from pep boys. It is rare that a rotor will literally warp. The pulsation comes from a build up of the brake pad material. That can be removed by having the rotors turned.

And you may need to replace your pads again after you install new rotors..
