It could be suspension. I'm very nit-picky about the ol' truck. I've had a couple of extra ears say the sound is in the caliper region. Which is also by some suspension junk. We shall see though. Thanks for all of the replies peeps

Thought I'd throw out an update. My rubbing/scraping sound was the small plate in the caliper. It was bent just a hair and was causing scraping. The creak is the caliper for w/e reason. When I re-do the front end and manifolds (God help me cuz I'm doing it myself). I'm going to re-lube everything on the caliper.
