Need a little advice
I've noticed a slight, soft "brushing" sound coming from the front driver side wheel while moving. That same wheel also has an occasional, audible "creak" coming from what seems to be the caliper. I've lifted that side and tried to manually replicate, but to no avail. The caliper isn't sticking. It's not the heat shield and there is no noticeable pulling to the left. Brake components are not extremely hot after driving, which would indicate drag. Curious if anyone has any ideas? Thanks for any replies~

This is my daily driver, so any new sound....I want to know what it is.

Maybe, but only seems to do it while the wheel is on the ground (pressure applied) It's not the tire, as I've tried on multiple types of surfaces and the sound is the same

Very early beginning of wheel bearing going out? Does it change when brakes applied? Does it change with speed?

Hubs are new. Relative to wheel speed. I believe it quiets down when braking. I'll have to double check to be sure. It's not extremely loud, gotta hang my head out the window to hear it.

That's tough. Being relative to wheels speed and quieted when braking, sounds like you're on the right track. Best of luck.

I'm thinking it may be the caliper hugging just a little. It's mostly the creaking I'm concerned about.

Did you grease the pins when you changed the brakes? I also wouldn't necessarily discount a bad bearing just yet. How new are they? It's possible, you got a bad one out of the box. "crap" happens sometimes...

when your driving and hear the noise pop it in 4WD and see if it goes away.
