I really didn't think beating a Hemi was all that rough, however. Now, if you want bragging rights, IMO, the Tundra would be a pretty big goal to reach. I think they run stronger than the Ram.

IMHO, I would just hang in there and not waste too much modding the truck just to beat another truck. Do it because you like the truck instead. Once you are able to, put that money in to the new truck.
I didn't do any of my mods to beat anyone lol I had them done before he even got the truck I was just saying he has a hard time keeping up with me. If he put a programmer in his truck he probly get me cause I was runing the hell out of my truck to get away from him. But ur right them tundras do run good

I love my truck and one day it will be my sons, I almost bought a ram Hemi but when I saw my truck it was love at first sight. She has more then enough torque I have no problems with Chevy but hime's are another story nobody I know owns a Tundra and I don't see them all that much

Damn, that's a fast truck!

I just purchased a 2014 5.0 Lariat, and will be putting on a Phase 2 ROUSH supercharger kit, putting it at 570hp. Any idea where that will put me in the 1/4? I can't seem to find any good numbers. I don't want to run it at the track because it's my DD and I don't want to break anything, but was curious if anyone has seen or heard what this set up would run. It's fun knowing how fast my truck would be, theoretically.

Your already gonna smoke the Hemi in the two places it really matters. 1. Reliability 2. Resale value.
