Have an 06 F150 Lariat with a 5.4, and all I want to do is smoke Hemi's. Is it going to be possible or I'm I dreaming? I building step by step. I love my truck and don't want to buy a new F-150 until my sons a little older

E-Force and a custom tune, forget all the rest. Run it until it blows up, then rebuild it for boost, pulley down and retune for more boost, and run that until you destroy either the trans or the rear end. Rinse & repeat.

I highly recommend the 2.3 whipple kit with a 10psi upgrade MAF and bigger injectors.. Get a tune from JDM and high flow cats for the whipple and you should blow the doors off of any hemi you cross paths with..

My buddy has a stock 5.7 and he can't keep up with my 5.4 but I also has a good bit of mods . Wat makes me mad is I put all this money in my 5.4 and I think my dad's new stock 5.0 will smoke my truck lmao

Not to be snooping but do you mind elaborating on some of your mods? I currently have S&B cold air with a SCT tuner with a custom tune I am ordering some Pacesetter long tube headers then a new tune. And new cams after that

Bbk 80mm throttle body , bbk shorty headers , electric fan kit , k&n coldair , accel high performace coils, throttle body spacer , edge evo php conversion, cat back exhaust...... Sum might say sum of my Mods are pointless but I had the money so I bought them lmao

I really didn't think beating a Hemi was all that rough, however. Now, if you want bragging rights, IMO, the Tundra would be a pretty big goal to reach. I think they run stronger than the Ram.
IMHO, I would just hang in there and not waste too much modding the truck just to beat another truck. Do it because you like the truck instead. Once you are able to, put that money in to the new truck.
