Default Need help with sub and amp

Hey guys, i need some help with buying a sub. This is my amp

Should i buy a 1 ohm dvc sub or a 2 ohm dvc? Sorry im new to audio

You'll want a final ohm load of 2ohms to get the maximum power out of the 5th channel of that amp. A dual 1ohm sub can be wired to a final ohm load of 2ohms which is best for max power output. A dual 2ohm will be either 1ohms which the amp will not like (over heating) or 4ohms which ends up giving you less power. Subs are available in a single coil 2ohm final load, look up JL Audio 10W1V32 or the 10W3V32. JL Audio offers similar setups in 12" as well. How many subs do you plan to run? Having more than one will effect the final ohm load as well.
