hey guys got a problem...i noticed this morning out of no where my radio doesnt turn off when key is out of ignition and i open my door..also my windows still go up and down...any ideas what it could be????

Bad door switch or broken wire... I had a wire that broke in my driver door harness and it would intermitently happen to me and then one day it just broke so I took the rubber grommet sleeving off and found the wire and soldered it.

Like Joe said, Check to see if the interior lights go on and off when the drivers door opens and closes. The door switch is used to cancel the accesory delay relay.

Not that it matters to this situation, but I always turn my radio and AC off before I shut off the engine.

yea the lights do not turn on when the car is unlocked or door is opened...how to go go about fixing it i have to take off door panel?

This sounds like the same problem I had. you pull the key out and the radio does not shut off. I believe it was a problem in larit 4 doors.

The issue is super simple. Ford used a cloth tape under the rear drivers door threshold. It soaks up water till the wire falls apart. Cut out the bad section, resoldier, and tape. If you think this is your issue I can try to find the info for you. IE color of wires. Or take mine apart and take some photos.

Total time was about an hour.
