Ok just picked picked up a 08 f150 5.4, truck has 102k all maintenance seems to to be done.. once the trucks warmed up it acts up half the time when you put the truck into Drive or R before you hit the gas it shudders I mean slams until you Hit the gas peddle all noise and feeling comes from the trans back ? Truck was always worked on by the dealer just can't see it being a misfire.. Also no CEL lights on ??

Sounds like what just happened with mine. Truck is at the dealer right now. Extended warranty expired 3k miles ago and the suggested a whole new tranny. That is going to set me back about $3k but tranny lasted 130,000 so from what I have read on here I cannot be too mad about it. Also, had misfire issues at 120k miles and that was more or a shudder around 50 mph and check engine light came on.

Just my experiences, I am not a mechanic.

I searched every where with my issue hope it's not the tranny the dealer is 40 mins away I also have a aftermarket warranty I bought I will probably go through because we all know dealers they will do coil packs and say it's fixed 🤑

Simple way to tell if it is a misfire is to use a reader that can check live data. If you have an Android phone or tablet get the Torque Pro app for $5 and this https://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products...&keywords=bafx That setup can tell you if there is a misfire.
