Inherited 08 XLT SCab 4x4
Hi All,
Just inherited an 08 F150 SuperCab XLT 4x4 with 69,000 miles on the clock. I've done a quick search and come up with a few things that need to be done.
Change oil
Change air filter
Change fuel filter
4x4 Hi engage problem (IWE Solenoid)
Change plugs?
What other items do I need to be concerned about on this truck? I have an 09 Lariat with 80k miles and haven't had to do much other than normal maintenance. Never had any problems. Thinking about letting my son drive the 08 but want to make sure it's good to go.

there's all kinds of stuff you could do...I have an 08 with 59K on it...have done the tranny service @ 30K and getting ready to do it again @ 60K..you should have the re-designed heads ...motor build date of 10/07...so no need to mess with the plugs yet unless your having a problem...I would suggest the brake fluid be re-placed and check the condition of your FPDM...I was planing on doing the front/rear diffs this spring and the T-Case fluid. good luck
