Default

i did car audio install for 7 years.. that looks like a regular directed electronics type harness for the alarm system..

almost positive i know the problem.

the dei (directed electronics alarm) requires you to cut the starter wire for security or remote start.

all you have to do is find a large green (16ga or so) out of the ignition harness (the harness that comes out of where your key turns)

the wire should be severed. all you have to do is reconect it and your rig will start

Default Grgperrier you arer correct!!!

I reconnected the green 16 ga wire under the steering wheel and had two new keys programed by a local locksmith friend. Car started right up and now I'm working on the power steering and brakes. Thanks for the conformation and if you could recommend a good alarm system with remote start for my f-150 what would it be?????

Cheers,
