Need help Identifying wires, see pic
I have been working on a 2004 f150 that was in a front collision. I have replaced the front frame section and finally got most of the truck back together. I went to start the truck tonight and I get nothing.... The inertia switch is also up and will not lock in the down position. I have a feeling that the Pats security system is stopping me. I have included a photo with some wires that come up to the steering colume but I'm not sure where they go because someone else with no sense tore into the wiring befor I bought it.
If you have any electrical specs or recommendations I appreciate it.

i would get a wiring manual and start chasing down wires, i have never seen blue terminals like that in a truck, looks someone added something in there, that could turn into a nightmare quick.

I agree. There are also some that run under the drivers side foot sill that can be seen as spliced.
I have a 2005 factory wiring manual.....you'd have to start listing color codes in order for wiring help.
If I'm not mistaken, the PATS disables the starter/ignition, but the dash and other accessories should light up when the key is in the "on" position. Do you get anything such as radio, lights, turn signals, etc with the key "on"?

where is the alarm brain located at in the 2004
Where would the alarm computer module be located??? I did some more test and found out that the key I was trying to use to start the truck is not programed with the pats system, unfortunately it's the only key I got from the used car dealer.... I will keep searching about the alarm system module and appreciate all the help.

Having an inline fuse like that (i think thats an inline fuse, big blue thing wrapped in electrical tape plus those blue connectors look like the just slide on instead of clip is definitely not factory.
Im going with the guys above, probably an alarm or something. Check the windows for stickers, see if it says something about an alarm or some other advertisement sticker that doesnt look factory.

When you turn the key does it get any power at all? Or will the radio turn on but when you turn the key foward nothing happens. If you have no power at all check you ignition fuse in the fuse box. It is like 101 or 121 or something like that. It is a big square fuse.
