Default Need help! I blew a fuse!

I was installing my LED interior map lights and I blew a fuse! Now I'm sitting in the dark here. Anyone know if my 2008 F150 Limited comes with extra fuses? Please help!

Not sure on the extras, but they would probably be in the fuse panel if so. Is there a specific reason you can't just wait until the morning and go to a parts store?

It's already morning here. Apparently my LED's are too high-powered for the interior lights, that's what I'm thinking, so I'm going to run to the shop and get a new one. Would you happen to know the fuse? I've been looking online and don't know which one it is. My cluster/map/dome lights don't turn on.

I would check out Fuse 21 which is a 15 amp.

You can also look through the list of fuses and pick one you can live without - e.g. trailer brakes if you're not towing - and steal that fuse to temporarily replace the one that blew. With that being said, though, a blown fuse indicates there's a problem, and the replacement fuse just might blow as well. LED lights generally draw less power than the incandescents they replace, so unless you went crazy with adding LEDs brighter than the sun ... I'd be worried about a short or other such electrical fault more than simply drawing too much power.
