Need F150 Dark Flint Seat Material, anyone help?
Hey Guys,
I have a tear in my drivers seat and I am looking for the material to replace it. It is the dark flint color. Does anyone know where I can get some, or have any extra from an order you made? I have been to a few different auto upholstery places and they are having a hard time finding it. I only need a small piece! Thanks.

Check with Ford online and get the bottom seat cover (or wherever it is ripped) for your year. You will need to re-cover the seat. Shouldn't cost much.
Or check an upholsterer near you once you have the cover from Ford.
Other than that you can buy Clazzio seat covers just the front or just the front bottoms (basically whatever you need) in dark gray or light gray. Look at truckleather or maybe ebay.

I have done both of those options, and the material is not available through ford, or at local upholsters. They have some re-make material that isnt the same texture. Thats why I was trying to reach out to see if anyone has any extra material, or knows somewhere to get the original material.

I have the same problem. I thought about going to the junk yard and getting a rear seat back just for the material. My rear seat in my super cab has been used probably less than 10 times in 10 years. I'm thinking a lot of rear seats in these trucks would not get much wear and finding one in good condition wouldn't be difficult. Have no idea what kind of deal I could get. Can't be much demand for them.

That's odd that an upholstery shop can't get the material because I just had mine done couple months ago, granted it was light grey. But they guy had a book for all males and models. Matched it up, called somewhere to see if it's still available. It was and now it looks perfect, matches texture and all.

@weadjust I was thinking the same thing! Might be a good idea.
@BryanKephart The light grey and tan colors are way easier to find, not sure why the dark flint is causing some trouble to find. Trying to call a few places so I will let you guys know what I find.
