Do it yourself. Do some research and study. You Tube has some great videos detailing how to do each part.
Buy some tools and get started.
With 93,000 miles I would not expect it to fall apart tomorrow or anytime soon.
Parts can be purchased at Amazon or many discount auto supplies.
Even after buying the tools, you will have money left over as compared to the estimate you got.

I agree. I went through this and spent about $550 on Amazon for all my parts. Went Moog on control arms and ball joints. Then I used the time tested Barter Economic Ecology Research theory to get the work done (BEER). and while that may have set me back $100 in a few good cases of quality craft, the work turned out gorgeous and my friends were very helpful and informative!

I agree with the two above me.

I'd check out some after market parts. If you plan on keeping that level, it might not be bad to beef up the components.

Here are some UCAs that people have been guinea pigs for. They said they're not too bad.

As far as Coil Springs, what'd they say about your strut? If those are bad too, you could always go with the Rancho QuickLIFTs. It would eliminate the spacer, and you still keep your level.

What all does it consist of. And is the reason because of the 2.5 inch block?

http://www.gorancho.com/products/lev...eveling-system

Basically it's a loaded strut, and the strut itself (along with the position of the coil mount) will raise the front end. It's a lot like the Bilstiens but some consider them more well-built.

Ok so I called and I was not paying that much attention but they said its my upper and lower ball joints and front coil springs were shot. So ideas now?

Also need suggestions because in Amazon I'm figuring about 570 for upper and lower control arms and the rancho quick lifts I'm seeing 240? A piece? The brands are acdelco

Your control ARMS on the lower end are serviceable and should not require replacement unless you've rusted them out or severely damaged the vehicle. For the upper control arms you need:

Amazon.com: Moog K80306 Control Arm with Ball Joint: Automotive Amazon.com: Moog K80306 Control Arm with Ball Joint: Automotive

Amazon.com: Moog K80308 Control Arm with Ball Joint: Automotive Amazon.com: Moog K80308 Control Arm with Ball Joint: Automotive

And your lower ball joints:

Amazon.com: Moog K80149 Ball Joint: Automotive Amazon.com: Moog K80149 Ball Joint: Automotive
(x2)

For your coil springs if you were to want to stay stock but add in a higher quality AM piece you would need:

Amazon.com: Monroe 171361 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly: Automotive Amazon.com: Monroe 171361 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly: Automotive
(x2).

If you decide to go after-market to lift the truck up you will need to look at different parts and price them out independently... But this would be maintaining stock spec but using higher grade parts.

If you don't want to do it yourself, try a local auto mechanics shop. At least get a second opinion and quote from them. I had a similar situation and the dealer was about twice as much for the same work.

If you have a garage and tools do it yourself for about 1/4 the cost. Like mentioned above, I would opt for some good preloaded struts versus disassembling and reusing the old likely worn out shocks.
