Need body lift advice to fit tires??

Do a google search for that tire size there are a few threads on te f150onlineforum about this exact size most people with only a 2.5 level kit say no rub at all

true, you have to combine the values for metric to get height

for metric, the first number is the width in MM. the second number is the aspect ratio, which when multiplied by the width, gives you the sidewall height, last number is the wheel size. so for example(keeping in mind that manufactures dont label there tire exactly correct), a 285/70/R17 is:
width = 285mm or 285/25.4(mm to in conversion) 11.2in
Rim = 17in
sidewall height = 285*.70=199.5mm or 7.9in
total height = sidewall + tire + sidewall again = 32.7in
of course each manufacture plays with this just as bad as they do the inch(a 35x12.50 could be actually 34.5 by 12 when inflated)
