Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to say you have to spend a ton of money believe me I try to save as much as I can but it's better to do it right the first time or not do it at all IMO. I understand he needs new tires so tires and a lift is a alot for most people nowadays

A body lift for your truck is actually going to run $550 for the parts alone, significantly more for the labor if you don't do it your self.

What wheels are you using and what is the size of your current leveling kit?

I have the stock 18inch wheels and 3inch truxxx leveling kit already, i shoudve but didnt measure my truck before and after leveling kit, and with levling kit and after grille guard but didnt, to see what height im actually at overall. the grille guard is pretty big, it has to weigh at least a couple hundred lbs. id think, so you guys think the bilstiens would give me back an inch or 2? cuz that sounds great to me

Man my tires are around 35.5xalmost 12 and they rub so to be on the safe side why not go with the 275/70r18 which is 33.3x11 chances are those would fit now without much more lift then if they rub buy the bilstines plus the 295/70r18 is 34.41 so you would lose a Lil mpg and pulling power even with 3.73 gears which I'm assuming you have just my opinion again no pressure lol

if you already have a 3inch level, you can't "Add" the bilsteins, you would have to replace it with the bilsteins, and you will likely loose height. have you tried the tires and they dont fit? or are you assuming they wont fit?

Are you sure on that ( I am not very familiar with them ) but I have seen 6 inch lifts bumped to 8 with them and also 8 bumped to 10 so I don't see why it wouldn't work with a spacer

nah I havent tried the tires yet, just ordered them, this is what the discount tire guy is telling me, he said if the truck were only leveled it would work, but with the grille guard itll be really close, also, I really want this tire size, the 285's I have are nice but I feel there a little small so want to go up in size.

285 is more a measure of the width than diameter what is the actual tire size on the truck now

Did they tell you why they don't fit? They may be trying to say they won't put the 295s on the stock rims. Worst you should have is a little rub.
