Oo ok if you go with a 17x8.5 you will need a diff offset them mine (not much) as its only a half inch diff. You could go with those and a +0 offset and it will still be sticking out and inch to inch and half.

That's what I figured. I'm thinking that a -10mm offset with the 8.5" wide rim would look about right. If not, I might go with the 17x8 and do the -12mm offset. Either way, I think I'll get a pretty aggressive stance. I'm thinking about throwing some Billies in the front and rear, that way I can get some lift in the front. I don't want to go too big and have to trim.

Cool. I like the look of 35s on a level. I just don't know if I'd be able to fit them under with Billies. I've heard that when the 5100s settle it's actually about 2.25" instead of the 2.5". And I also need to make sure I comply with Illinois law regarding tires past the wheel wells. So much to consider, haha.

Yeah, it definitely does. The Ranchos do the same thing as the Billies when they settle. I like the adjustable ride in the Ranchos, but the Billies, for a set, are $350, while the Ranchos are $400 for the front pair only. I'm leveling on a budget, especially if I'm going with Nittos. And if they're 35s I REALLY need to level on a budget.

I feel you on that. I paid like $60 or so on my 2" level.

Nice! I figure I'll be needing new shocks anyway. The Bilstein 5100s seem to be the favored shock among forum members. So I figured I'd give them a shot. And I guess they don't actually settle like the Ranchos? Not sure how that works but I'll take it.
