the tires on the rims i have now at 265/70-17 and the new ones i got are 275/65-18....how much "bigger" are the new tires compared to the old ones? I think it should raise my truck a tad but barely noticeable probably

Original tire is about 31.6 in tall the new one is about 32.1. You will be fine. Speedo may be off by 1 mph, if you're doing 60 you're really doing 61. I got this off a saved website (miata tire size calculator). It's really helpful in determining difference in tire sizes.
