Default Need Advice

The previous owner before me obvious didnt get an alignment and which cause the front tries to wear uneven so I found someone who has 4 tires with 80% tread left for 275. Sounds like a good price? Also I found a guy who has 4 fx2 rims and tires in good shape for 300. Not sure which one to do.

4 tires for $275. Get them mounted and balanced. Total = $325+

how much would it cost to have a shop balance and align them(estimate) ? Is it true our trucks cant really be aligned in the back just have the toe in the front done?

Well it depends on what wheels you have now and if you like them or not and the condition on the tires of the fx2 wheels.

4 tires for $275
Mount and balance $50+?
gas for 5 hour drive $40? $80?
5 hours of your life that you'll never get back $......?

Tires and wheels $300 20 minutes away - this one would be for me. Clear enuff?

I would consider a couple of things...how big are the rims? You have to take in to account the cost of replacing the tires down the road. The bigger the rim, the more expensive to replace. If they are the same size rim, then I guess it comes down to aesthetics. If you like the look of the fx2 rim then it sounds like a great deal for the wheel/tire combo. To mount and balance you're probably looking between $80-$120 depending on the shop.
