it is more fun that way.Yes i know its just a truck,but if you can make it faster and have the money and want to put that money into makeing it faster,why not,lol....I also lke being one of the fastest trucks around my nieborhood(besides the strip trucks that are bult for speed,lol)i like being able to beet the hemies,the toyato tundra's,the chevy Z-71's.and once you start doing things like that,you get more addicted to the speed and wonder what can i do next that will either brake my piggy bank,or what i can do untill the gril yells at you for spening so much,lol,hope that explains why i did mine,lol
