Honestly, if you really want some giddy up, its gonna be complicated.

Save up and do a gear swap.

My truck is a 4.6 and its quick, not fast, just quick. Not much to do to our 4.6 trucks except the minor bolt ons.

well i own a 5.4 and a 4.6. And i can tell you it will be a cold day in hell that a 4.6 beats the 5.4. Unless you drop tons of $$$ in it. My 5.4 pulls like a beast off the line and continues that way until i decide to stop it. Only mods i have is true duals and i did the Gotts mod on the intake. If you dont believe it ask the boys in the Impala SS that i ran down one night. Their eyes were bigs as coke bottles. They couldnt believe a TRUCK would run like that. And yes i am going to buy a tuner but its going on the 4.6 to pull the 33.3 tires i have on it. Now i did own a 02 4.6 that ran like a beast also but it was a Windsor motor. So if any 4.6s want to jump come to NE florida, i'll give it a go. Those Hemis dont even scare this 5.4.

a truck is like a bass boat "get the biggest motor possible" or you won't be happy, that's the truth

no one makes a supercharger for the 4.6....custom turbo would be your only option
