I've seen police trucks but they've all been painted up like cop cars. My buddy's dad ran a security company and he drove his truck and had all that stuff in it

Sounds like its just a FX4 with some stuff installed in it. If it was a "police interceptor" it would have that on the rear somewhere like the crown vics do. Would also be a first for me. I've seen F150's used for a police truck, but never a police interceptor F150.

There are countless gigs out there requiring accessorized trucks like you mention. Anything from road work, construction, surveying, to cable guys, phone guys, delivery guys, fire dept, etc. list could go on forever. You would know in a hurry if it was an 'interceptor' by looking under the hood, checking brakes and suspension(all would be upgraded), and it would definitely be marked on the vehicle info sticker or registration. Law also requires that previous owners must disclose that sort of info. True 'interceptors' are built that way by the manufacturer, as they must meet higher requirements than standard vehicles. More than just throwing a sticker on the back of the vehicle, which often doesn't even happen anymore anyways.

Yours might not be, but mine is. I intercepted one the other day...of course he was trying to tell me that I was the one speeding, but he didn't want to hear that he was speeding too! Hahahaha.
