My truck build Named Jessica
Kenwood Stereo with 3.5mm jack and usb port
Painted the headlights myself
Tinted the Taillights
Tinted Third Brake light
Painted Fender Badges
Painted Tailgate Badges
Painted Grille Emblem
Working on the GOTTS Mod should be finished Friday
Finished Gotts Mod
Removed Silencer
Also added a factory hitch
I have used the search methods and thoroughly asked question and read every thread I could on my projects I highly advise using the search bar and also asking other members who have the mods or you think have the mods you want it has worked out for me and DIY mods make the wife happy
I am also in the process of painting my Cowling, Door Handel's, my Plastic Bed Rail Covers, my mirrors as well as my Front Grille so they match my emblems better I should be able to upload pictures soon of my progress depending on weather I am also prepping to put lights behind the grille missing items are lights, and a switch, I am going to be using a 4wheel drive switch that everyone has and I don't seeing as how my 4wheel is engaged with a floor shifter. Also still saving up for leveling kit and tires. My front bumper cover has a crack in it I will be doing a fiberglass repair kit from behind and using spray liner from a can to do my bumpers, rockers and the bumper cover. I am also toying with the idea of doing the spray on lining on my rims as well, we will see how the rest of the truck turns out. More pics in my album as well
My How To's
I Did my badges myself
Step 1: I used painter tape and taped all around them
Step 2: Use newspaper or painters paper to tape all around the area and more for over-spray
Step 3: I then used 100 grit sand paper and went to town on the Ford ovals until they were just roughed up chrome I took all the sticker off
Step 4: I went to town just scuffing up the F-150 fender/tailgate badges
Step 5: Paint with Krylon Fusion paint in a can I did about 3 or 4 coats
Step 6: Remove tape and paper
Step 7: I didn't tape oh so well or the paint leaked through the tape so I got finger nail polish and Q-tips and got the finger nail polish on the Q-tip then gently rubbed the over-spray/crappy tape job and rub the paint off do not use elbow grease just gently rub the area of over-spray
Step 8: Wax what ever area of truck you used fingernail polish remover on with Q-tip
Step 9: Take picture and have a drink

Yeah the hardest part I had with the badges was the cold weather but I have a heat gun and kept it moving to help dry the paint LOL
Thanks I've ben trying to keep busy, improve my truck and not spend too much money, I'm saving up for the more expensive projects LOL but its nice I can leave her torn apart since she sits all week, gotta love having a company vehicle lol
