Did any of you guys try the impact method, or did you all do the crack and soak method?

The impact method on a hot motor has a great track record of success...
A 3/8 cordless impact, and a few 3/8 socket drive adaptors are all you need..

The hot engine method just scares me. I don't like the ideal of how the aluminum threads could react to this. That said I have a nephew who is a mechanic and that's the way he always does them and has never broken one. It would be just my luck that I would stretch the threads or strip themcompletely.

I'm in Louisiana, I paid 65 bucks for the removal tool on eBay, but if your willing to pay the shipping you can use mine. BTW sent you a pm.

I didn't warm up the engine because I had all the coils off to soak the plugs over night. I didn't use the impact method because like the others said, that just don't sit well with me, I have rung off too many things with an impact in my time, just seems like this wouldnt be any different lol
