They truly are but I understand the waiting its a scary thought to think you might have to pull the heads. I waited way to long but I wouldn't have waited so long had I know it wasn't so bad.

I agree on not waiting. The sooner you do it, the less carbon build up on the plugs and that means you have a better chance of them not breaking!

I'm going to do it but not this Winter and make sure I'm going to get me that creeper so I can see over the hood.

Man you're lucky... 4 of 4 that I have had changed broke off... And still have the 4 hardest ones to go!

Need some help guys. I have developed a nasty misfire. At first it would happen when driving between 65-75mph. The truck would buck unless I backed off on my speed. It finally threw a blinking CEL and read misfire cylinder 7. I replaced COP on cylinder 2 the first time by mistake as my Haynes manual didn't say which bank was driver/passenger. I started having the miss at idle now as well. I changed the COP in cylinder 7 and I still have the miss at idle. Haven't had a chance to test highway because it normally takes 30 minutes of steady driving to appear. Could my spark plug have gone bad?

I also can't get it to throw a code to tell me where the misfire is at....

Yes your spark plug could have been bad, even brand new parts can fail. Also you may want to re-check all 8 plugs and make sure none backed out.
