Here in South Jersey, we got around 6inches. That really sucks. If you are somewhat mechanically inclined, buy the upper bumper and have it painted and put it on yourself, then try to shape the fender and cover it with factory fender flares.

I had extensive front end work done to my truck last year because of an accident. A lot more than you're looking at so judging by what I had done and what the cost was I'd say the $1000-$1500 range is probably right on.

well my friend is a painter at a body shop up here and he said hed paint it for me for free so i just gotta buy the parts and hes gonna help me with the rest so itwont cost nearly as much.

Also, it really depends on where you find the used truck. There are a lot of shady places that do crappy work to fix vehicles.
