if you are going to complain about people not caring about how they drive, what the hell are you doing driving a truck?
dont say someone needs to care more when you drive the same damned truck.

You also gotta think Ty that some people have no choice in buying a truck. I got one mainly cause I needed it. I also try to save on gas now. (I don't really need the truck anymore but can't stand cars now that I've had a truck). So I too set the cruise on 59 mph. The best I've been getting is about 20 mpg.
If you have the money to lift it and make it all cool, I say go for it. Just wish I could do the same thing. I have a mortgage and all kinds of other bills so every penny counts.

I don't travel the interstate much at all. I live in a small town and do most of my driving on 2 lane state highways.
I'm sure you are enjoying your truck just as you had planned and that's your choice to drive like you want to but that's one of the things contributing to higher fuel consumptions in the US.
As people get a little older they begin to understand that we are part of the bigger picture and can be a contributor to making things better.

Also I agree with Ty, if you really want to help save fuel consumption then buy a hybrid or buy something that gets 40-50mpg's. Don't buy a truck that gets half as much and then say someone else's drivng style is contributing to the higher fuel consumption in America.
