Default My first out of town MPG

I took my first 183 mile out of town round trip today in my new '07 XLT Screw with a 4.6 and got 22.3 MPG. With the AC on at 62 MPH.

62? That's traveling on the interstate? I'm all for saving gas, but I just can't drive that slow on the interstate. I didn't buy and then lift my truck to save gas mileage.

I don't travel the interstate much at all. I live in a small town and do most of my driving on 2 lane state highways.

I'm sure you are enjoying your truck just as you had planned and that's your choice to drive like you want to but that's one of the things contributing to higher fuel consumptions in the US.

As people get a little older they begin to understand that we are part of the bigger picture and can be a contributor to making things better.
