Default My dad finally bought a real truck 04 F150

its a 4 door 5.4, 140k what problems should we be looking for in the near future? He already replaced the tie rod and had it aligned. Truck seems to run good except for when you push the brakes you can hear a pop sound in the rod going to the booster. He loves it and I am glad to see him switch from a chevy over to a ford

Make sure to get those plugs changed and get an induction cleaning...might be expensive but its well worth paying that and not having the plugs break off from carbon buildup

Main thing that comes to mind are those damn plugs. Which as stated above have been done already.

i had bought an 04 fx4 and there was a nasty tick coming from the engine and it never went away got louder when i reved it , they said cam phazers and was very very common thing for that year of ford, the truck had 125,000 km on it, did he by chance pick up any ext warranty on it?
