My baby is at the doc...
Took my truck in today to have a vibration checked out on the driverside front tire and two hours later I get the call that the real problem is in the rear diff ...thier going to be tearing it down tomorrow in hopes of finding the problem. I just hope my warrenty company will cover the cost ...I dont think I will be getting much sleep tonight...

looks like the clutchs are burned up in the rear diff, previous owner never changed the oil out...hopefully warrenty covers cost so i can changed the front diff oil and flush the trans...

I think your ok on the warranty company.
As long as the oil falls into the recomended change time frame I don't see an issue. I think ford has the rear gear oil listed at 100k or something. I would look into the exact milage on rear diff oil change. So if they try to deny it you can use that.

You bring it in complaining of a front driver's vibration and they say the rear end needs new clutches?
Make sure you get the blown up clutches and steels back and that the vibration is gone before paying for anything. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
