Is that a monitor style one? I was actually looking at kenwood and pioneer today. Would you steer clear of the kenwood if you had to do it over or was it a pretty simple alteration? Thanks for the help

It's a pretty simple fix it just takes a Drimmel tool and some time to open up the hole a little. Only thing I wish it had was a auxiliary plug on the front. It has one on the back and a usb cable I've got in my glovebox. It has a DVD player and I have the backup camera and the screen is clear on both. Here is a pic I just took. Sorry it's dark outside but the is what it looks like.

I like that one. I see it says ford on the screen. Does it do that just by plugging in the harness or is that a stock one out of a newer ford( that's probably a dumb question I'm guessing stock ones aren't kenwood but I'm asking anyway lol)

You can put any pic you want on there. Just grab a pic you want and throw it in a thumb drive. Pick your usb option in the menu and download it.
If you are trying to decide ask Summer's if he will post the pic of his pioneer. It looks good also and will give you an idea of how the pioneer looks.
It's nice that the phone automatically connects via Bluetooth after you pair them and I love the hands free calling. Both pioneer and kenwood have pretty much the same options and you won't go wrong with either stereo.

One of the cheaper ones if you dont need navigation, which I dont, because its on my phone. I got mine for $186 from sonicelectronix, but they dont have it anymore. Save the image you like on your computer, then resize it to 800x480 and save it to a thumb drive. The thumb drive plugs into the provided usb cable. There is a youtube video on this model as well and custom backgrounds. Here is a link from ebay for the unit:
