I'm not much of a painter so have a question. If you want to leave a pattern on your wheels with tape, when you apply the plastidip, do you pull off the tape after all the coats have dried or do you need to do it while it's still wet? I would think if you wait until it's dry, it would want to peel the plastidip off with it. I'm thinking of doing this and trying to decide what specifically I want to do with my wheels. Thanks guys.

I would do it when it's dry. When I first did my ford emblems I thought I could just peek it off after I just sprayed it but it peeled up some of the paint on the emblem so I had to redo it and wait until it's dry.

Nice truck man. I've got an 07 FX4 that's been my baby since early 09. She's got a little over 154,000 miles.

Baby flex on a curb by my apartment.

Quick picture I got today.

I apologize for the less than stellar picture quality. My phone camera isn't as good as it used to be. iPhone 4S camera...

Thanks! You've got a nice truck yourself! I've had mine a year as of August. I wanna upgrade to a 2011+ but since I've had so much done and I keep up on it I plan to just keep driving for it few more years then maybe upgrade.

You peel tape off plastidip while its wet, if not it will tear.

So I ended up ordering my 275-60-20 terra grapplers from discount tire for 868 shipped last Friday and checked their ebay listing and they have $40 instant savings on a set of four nitto's I called and they still honored it! Also if anyone is looking for that size walmart has them back in stock for 204 a tire free shipping to any walmart store so not bad. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Nitto-Terr...tlyViewedItems

Did you take your wheels off when you plastidipped them or did you leave them on your truck.
