Today I had some parts replaced:

Passenger lower ball joint
Passenger upper control arm
Driver side outer tie rod end
The entire rack
Front brakes and rotors

And my e-brake still doesn't work because they forgot to check it. When they did check it it's going to need for the drums to come off since the wires that go to it are completely disconnected (rust) and the toes are stuck completely out.

But I did it at a repair shop I trust, with guys I hang out with, through the warranty my credit union provided to me. Some hoops to jump through, sure, but my total was $250 vs the actual total of $2300.

For the Dead Pedal
Got a 94-98 Mustang dead pedal, http://www.ebay.com/itm/161966229271

Drill three holes in it on my drill press.

Took the driver's side kick panel out so I could get to the E-brake assembly. Drilled three pilot holes after marking them with a center punch. Used self-tapping screws, just like in this post: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/instal...-pedal-140614/
For the footwell lights
Black wire with a blue tracer is what I tapped into under the driver's side floor sill. I actually followed this thread: http://www.f150online.com/forums/art...t-circuit.html -- except I didn't go up into the wiring harness like he did, I just did it at the top of the sill area where I knew there wouldn't be pressure on it and it would be safely tucked.

Put in aux reverse lights today. Since I swapped out the incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs the circuit load is the same as it was with the two extra lights added to the mix now.

I may, may, swap them for floods instead but they do the job well right now.

On a whim I decided to add a wheelskins cover to the steering wheel. It's nice and comfortable.

Alright, well, I've been sold.

I want this bull bar:
Amazon.com: Lund 27121206 Black Bull Bar with Integrated LED Light Bar: Automotive Amazon.com: Lund 27121206 Black Bull Bar with Integrated LED Light Bar: Automotive

I really like the low profile it gives for the light bar. I just need to also get the mount relocation bracket for the front plate.

Got a PHP Gryphon programmer in the mail today.

Flashed the truck with the 87 Tow tune, adjusted for wheel size and gearing. Shifting is very snappy and throttle response is good. Almost makes up for having a four speed transmission. Almost.

I'm sure I can find it cheaper. I did just get a tonneau and a tuner for $388.

How's this for a hitch in the giddyup. I ordered the wrong damn size tonneau. I never measured the bed of the truck because the VIN said 5.5ft bed. And everything online said "Yep, 5.5ft bed", so I literally just never bothered. I should have, because I have a 6.5ft bed. So now I have this Lund Genesis Tri-fold tonneau for a 5.5ft bed and can't use it.

It's up for sale locally because shipping is a pain in the ***, but I may consider selling it to someone here if they're willing to split shipping with me (still cheaper than buying online, mind you).

In other news, I got the truck all tuned up with the Gryphon, changed a few more settings in regards to shift firmness and WOT shifts. It feels like a completely different truck now and I'm already getting better MPG because it supplies enough power I don't feel the need to bury my foot in the throttle.

Huh. I just scored a Bakflip G2 from Amazon for $300 shipped. One of the sellers (Custom Auto) is having a "Warehouse Moving Sale" -- so they wanted to get it out of there before they had to move it themselves.
