It should be something like chrome matte
Plus it looks cheap.

I'm replacing it with a Mark LT black leather wrapped shifter instead.

I actually had mine already, same bulbs as in my wife's '08 Edge (she hated them and wanted the old yellow incans back).

I used one of these
festoons festoons
for the middle dome light in the back, and four of
these these
for the map lights, front and rear.

I'm waiting until I'm a little more flush with cash to pull the trigger (I have a work trip to San Antonio this weekend and a personal trip from there to New Orleans in the middle of next week, so I'm watching my cash flow for right now), but these are all in my cart, ready to go when I get back.

For now, I'm not running HIDs but I do want a whiter light from the headlights so I'm replacing the regular bulbs with
Silverstar Ultras(x2) Silverstar Ultras(x2)
(same as the ones I had in my Impala for years).

Once I have those in, I'm going to add these LEDs because they don't require anything special:

Fog Lights (x1)

Reverse Lights (x1) Reverse Lights (x1)

Then I'm going to purchase
this relay this relay
(x1), to replace my old one, for the next set of lights because they all require either load resistors or an LED specific relay in order for me to not lose my Cruise Control and not develop HyperFlash.

Front Amber Signals(x1)

Rear Brake Lights(x1) Rear Brake Lights(x1)

High Brake Light(x1) High Brake Light(x1)

Cargo Lamps and Front Side markers(X2) Cargo Lamps and Front Side markers(X2)

And then I can splice in the
LED Bars LED Bars
that I mentioned earlier into the reverse lights and not worry about drawing more current than the wires and fuse can handle through the reverse wires.

Oh, and a set of Puddle Lamps from Daytimebrightlites.

About $260 later, and a couple hours on a weekend, and voila. All external LEDs with the exception of the headlights.

Only got half my lights today, so I couldn't do the full external LED change-out that I wanted to do... but everything else is arriving tomorrow, so there's still time.

Oh well, today, though, I did get at least two sets of LED lights that I don't need a new relay for (again, coming tomorrow, bah).

I changed out my vanity lights and my front fogs.
