Default Awesome rebuild

Kozal, I realize that you and your father do this for a living, but my hat's off to you guys for bringing her back to life instead of letting someone strip her down for parts.

Congrats, looks great!

Nice Job!!!! It really looks good!!!! you are so lucky to have the resources to repair something like that. After looking at the photos I'd buy any wreck you were going to sell!
I wish you could have done my 69 Camaro...There's a story

i got the truck for $5500, when its all said and done i will have right around $8000 invested total. thats nearly $10,000 below retail value. thanks for the compliments guys! for the record, i dont do this for a living, my father does. he does the work that requires talant lol, i turn wrenches, do a little welding here and there. bodywork is a work of art IMO, its amazing the things he can do.

Looks like youll have a nice truck when its all done.

I had a Cutlass Supreme that was a salvage roll over and me, my friend and his father fixed it up at their bodyshop (where I worked at the time). Lots of work to get it right again. I got lucky and my friend bought me a parts car that was the same color so we didnt have to paint the insides of all 4 doors, the fenders and the hood that we replaced.

its got 49,000 on it. ill tell ya, those pillars are strong too, ford wasnt messing around when they built these trucks, everything on them is strong. my dads been doing this stuff for over 30 years and he said this is by far the strongest vehicle hes ever worked on.
