Fill your truck up and write down how many miles you have on it. Drive the gas out and when you go to fill up again write down your miles again and how many gallons it took to fill it up. Subtract the miles and divide by the gallons. For example if I fill up and have 91,000 miles drive it out fill up again and have 91,300 miles and it took 20 gallons I would divide 300 by 20 and get 15 miles to the gallon

How did you do in math class ?? got to calculate it manually like stated above...or you can buy a programmer that does it for you and get a couple more MPG's at the same time.

Speaking of a scan gauge I have a brand new ultra gauge I need to sell that I bought for my ranger but sold the ranger before it got here so now I have no use for it. So to the OP if u want something that tells ur mpg and a lot more stuff like trans fluid temp oil temp, I think it does ur 02 sensors and a whole lot more stuff I will sell it to u. I paid 70$ for it new and will sell it to u for 55$ shipped to ur door.these things are really great if u haul stuff so u can monitor ur truck
