Was originally planning on eventually powder coating stock rims, so I've already mounted new tires.

After further consideration, I can get these 17" black rims for slightly more than powder coating the stockers and don't have to figure out what to do with the plastic/chrome center cap.

Default Emblem removal

I'll post updates soon, but wanted to add this for future reference/searches.

When removing tailgate and fender emblems, initially tried the "fishing line" method, which is effective but exhausting (especially on a cooler day). After removing the tailgate this way, I figured there HAD to be a better/quicker way to get rid of all the excess adhesive.

Enter plastic spatulas, 3M adhesive eraser wheel, and 3M adhesive remover spray.

When using the above, I literally removed both fender emblems, all adhesive, and installed new emblems in about 30 minutes total (including using a bit of rubbing compound to blend faded paint where old emblems were).

Highly recommended. Purchased all of the above from Advance Auto for about $60. Kinda pricey, but I value my time, so it was totally worth it.

Some updates:

Jump seat to console swap (with new OEM lid to finish look):

Pioneer AVH-X3600BHS with custom Ford background:

Backup camera display:

09-14 tailgate badge (painted Rustoleum black):

09-14 XLT fender badges (painted Rustoleum black):

Used Flexi-dip on the front & rear chrome bumpers this weekend. Looks solid, but I need another 2-3 coats on each - raining today, so I'll wait til humidity is lower.

Looks clean. Have you looked at painting the mirror caps and handles?

Yeah, I love it. The console is HUGE. Wish that Ford had developed a tray of some sort for it, but I'll deal with it.

Considering both. May need some very minor body work (deep scrape on roof, touch up where previous tonneau cover rubbed directly behind the cab, etc). That'd be the only way, as I don't have the patience to attempt to do it myself, so if I go to a body shop, I'll have those done as well.
