Default Mustang exhaust sound from my 4.6 f150

What is needed to create the unique Mustang exhaust note on my 4.6 f150? I have a Flowmaster single in and duals out, but it sounds like a truck... Nice but still a truck. I have a new xpipe and flowmaster delta flow racing mufflers to put on. Are long tube headers a part of the "sound"? Any suggestions.

I have long tubes into an xpipe then magnapack, magnaflow mufflers on my mustang. I guess the closest way is to make your exhaust a true dual system.

Its hard to explain the sound difference going from the stock manifolds to the longtubes. It just sounded better.

Either way, stock manifolds or long tubes, if your system is converted to a true dual setup with xpipe and flowmaster super 40 or 44 mufflers, your truck will sound nice.

Just my 2 cents. Good Luck with your build.

It is X-pipe right off the headers into 2.5" pipe back to 3" tips. There is only the front 2 cats, no mufflers.
