Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like I should try for a FX4 or Larait. Seems most enjoy the upgrades.

Is there anyway to look at an F150 and know it has the 3:73LS without looking at the rear diff tag? All factory tow packages have a 7 pin and 4 pin correct?

for sure.

I also really like the automatic headlights. I never need to turn them on or off.

The axle code is in the door jamb sticker. My 07 XLT with towing pkg has both connections.

I own a 2005 Lariat 4x4 and wish I had an XLT. In my opinion the climate control isn't worth it, I never use heated seats, the sliding window is nice to have but all the other bells and whistles mine has aren't worth it to me. My truck of choice would be an 07-09 xlt supercab w/ the 6.5ft bed, 5.4, and 3.73's. However, before I bought another Ford I would get a Cummins for sure.

My FX4 has the stock 4 and 7 pin connectors. Also, the keypad is awesome if you hunt. You can lock your keys in the truck and not worry about them jingling around in the woods.

Are a pain in the bung hole in salty conditions!!! They never shut up when they drop salt.

But I agree with the majority here:

Power slide rear window in a SCrew is a must.

Keypad is awesome!

I live in Ohio, not a winter day went buy I didn't use my heated seats but I have leather (which I love, but it's cold) and they heat up quick.

3.73/tow package is great,

not cool enough to have a back up cam

Auto climate is great as well as auto lights (I put a hat or something over mine so they just come on every time I start the truck)

Sun roof is nice

I bought a 04 lariat when I got mine....just do yourself 1 favor and MAKE THEM CHANGE THE SPARK PLUGS!! $385 for labor $80 for plugs and 5 broken plugs later I was good to go....
