Hey guys looking to delete my muffler and replace it with pipe on my 06 5.4. I know that the stock muffler has offset inlets and outlets, so im just wondering if i will need to get the pipe bent or if a straight piece will work?

Thanks

Just replacing the muffler would be straight.

I did this on my 05. I just used a straight piece with no bends. I added a 4.5"x10" tip. Sounds nice
Cant beat it for only spending $50

I enjoy my peaceful quiet weekend mornings in my neighborhood; please stay away from driving through!

I personally am not a fan of the muffler delete, or the dumping the exhaust under the truck. I have never heard one that sounds good to me. It sounds cheap and "unfinished".

Reminds me of my grandpa's old 93 chevy. Every year his muffler would rot out, lifetime warranty, cheepo muffler. And that sound of a missing or rotting muffler is not a good one.

Again this is just me.

So do all the F150's have 4 cats on them. I know my 01 did and I removed the rears and it sounded much better but my 08 only has 2 so I wasnt such if someone had already deleted the rears.

The 04 f150's had 4 cats on them, but in 2005 the changed to only using 2 cats.
