I don't know much about the mud grapplers, but I've heard nothing but good things bout the trail grapplers even with snow. I've done my homework on them and read posts and reviews from guys with them that live in the northern US and even Canada and they love em and say good stuff. I live in northern illinois and once I read a couple guys doin good with them farther north than me, that sold me lol.

A friend of mine had super swampers on his truck and would just spin tires in the the snow. No traction

Havn't owned mud grapps but my trail grapplers do just fine in snow, weve had a bit of snow already and never had any issues (knock on wood) yet. heh

Of course if i want to, they spin all day long

Honestly I would just go with the trails... I love mine and by the sounds of tons of other posters on here, many guys love em too. The muds seem to have the cons out way the pros, atleast for me tho.
